About the event

Curre PC are hosting CHARACTER & CONNECTION, a last-ever demo in the UK by international liberty trainer EMMA TYTHERLEIGH and her equine and canine co-stars.   The demo will take place at Coleg Gwent, Usk on Thursday 1st October (6.30pm start). 

 

What to expect:

  • Emma shows how she uses techniques based on learning theory to build a unique relationship with each member of her animal ‘family’

  • Discover through real-life examples how any horse or pony (or dog!) owner can use training based on calmness, focus and trust to improve communication – transforming not just ground handling but ridden work too!

  • See how energy, breathing, pressure/release and positive reinforcement through reward-based learning can all be used – according to what’s best in the moment and based on each animal’s personality - to build confidence and help overcome performance nerves (two and four-legged!)
