26th August
WVRC members visited Thomas Symonds Racing last Weds. Everyone was impressed with his lovely set-up and the care and attention to detail treating each horse as an individual, and with plenty of turnout. As a thank you for the visit WVRC have donated £50 to Herefordshire RDA at Tom's request.
17th June
We met the zebras and Somali Wild ass at Terri Hill Livery, followed by a picnic!
Track Livery
15th April
Fiona Hunt of Field and Forest Track Livery (and Epona Mounted Archers) talked to us about track systems and how they help promote natural movement, social interaction, and long-term health. We also found out that track systems are also a good way to manage grazing with our increasingly wet winters, to allow for turnout all year round.
Held at the Huntsman Hotel, Shirenewton we had some lovely food followed by the presentation by Fiona.
Rider biomechanics
On 19th March Amy Williams from Top Flight Phisio gave us a presentation on 'Rider biomechanics - how you may be affecting your horse'

On Saturday 3rd August, we had an Introduction to Carriage Driving.
There were 3 groups of 4 and we all had a turn driving a lovely, willing and very patient pony with Robin Rossiter, standing on the back plate and also a session learning about harness and tacking up.
Everyone enjoyed it and some have even booked to have further sessions.
15th September
Steffi Harant, List 3 British Dressage Judge, EQ Bands Coach and Dressage Trainer talked to us on Where the Marks are.
On Wednesday 30th July members, families and friends enjoyed a tour of the Silver Circle Distillery!
