Meet the Committee...

I have ridden and owned horses from an early age. Clyde (aka the Big Lad) and I enjoy dressage, show jumping and we would like to do a bit more X Country. We have been to the National Championships with WVRC and had great fun. We love hacking out and like loosing ourselves in the countryside.

I am the Training Manager for the club, and am very happy to hear from anyone who is interested in joining our monthly lessons or suggesting different things to do. I compete in dressage at Elementary and can advise on starting off on your dressage journey, having done it on several horses from the ground up.

I rode a little as a teenager, then after a 40 year gap I bought two Exmoor ponies to do a bit of hacking.  6 years ago when I retired I bought Daisy, a 15.1 Warmblood x Irish.  We do a bit of everything, but she loves jumping, so I put my brave pants on and now eventing is our favourite.  I am also Chair of Clytha Group RDA and a Group Coach, which keeps me busy but is immensely rewarding.
